I have graduated from fiscal policy in 2002 and I have master degree on arts in management in 2010. Also, I am training PHd on Economy Politics since 2011.
My working life has started in 2003.
First I started to work for Revenue Department of Fiscal Ministery as a revenue expert in 2003 and after one year I went on working as a tax auditor in same department. I worked nearly two years in fiscal ministery. In this position, I heve learned fiscal and tax affairs and also I have trained my first audit experience. I leaved this job in 2005 for a new job in Ziraat Bank.
I started to work for Ziraat Bank as an inspector of audit board in 2005. That was my second experience on audit Professional. Ziraat Bank is the biggest governmental bank of turkey. It has nearly 2000 branches and it?s amount of assets is nearly 160 billion dollars. In this position I was responsible for auditing branches and units nad olso reporting the conclusions to the board. This audit work includes of financial statements, accountant records, operational activities, cash management, credit risks and IT operations. Also, in this position, one of my main responsibilities was detecting and investigating the frouds. However I experienced in performance management within this position. We were chacking the performance of employees and branches as an auditor. I leaved this job in 2008 for a new job in Turkiye Finans Participation Bank which is an important Islamic Bank in Turkey.
I started to work for Turkiye Finans Participation Bank as a senior auditor in Internal Control Department in 2008. In this position, I had an important opportunity to experience Islamic Finance and Islamic Banking applications for nearly three years. I was responsible for auditing branches and units from the aspect of risk and control. However, I was responsible for establishing Risk Control Martixes for accounting operations, finansial statements, management reportings, and also I got roles for establishing Risk Control Martixes for banking operations, credit operations, process management. On the other hand, all of the audit works were compliant with Islamic Principles. In addition, I worked about IT techniques for auditing and astablishing queries for detecting faults, frouds or mistakes in all operations through using IT techniques.
Than I desidet to get a PHd degree while I was working for TFKB. I have been accepted Phd, but in an other far city. So I intended to change my work and I leaved from TFKB for a new job in an Development Agency which is take place close to my PHd univercity.
SERKA is a regional development agency which is owned by government. The agency uses the treasury funds to support the investors. So that, internal audit system is very important for the agency. I strated to work in SERKA as an expert and I am responsible for preparing the agency to external and governmental audits. I prepared the procedures and also I established the internal control system. In March 2011 the agency get succesfully the governmental accreditation.
On the other hand, I have got three certificate on audit. First one is called as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) given by TURMOB (Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants Of Turkey), it refers to a professional and approved accountant and fiscal consultant. It is in use in Turkey. I got it in 2009.
The second one is called as ?Independent Audit Certificate? given by SPK (Capital Markets Board of Turkey), it refers to an professional independent auditor for campanies which are subject to Capital Markets Regulations. It is in use in Turkey. I got it in 2011.
And the third and the most important one is colled as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), given by IIA (The Institude Of Internal Auditors). İt refers to a Professional internal auditor for all organizations. It is in use nearly all over the World. I got it in 2010. |
